I thought the Aliens were INVADING

So this morning, for the first time in my life, I thought there may be LIFE beyond human beings out there. The past few nights there had been reports of a meteorite after reports of flarelike lights in the sky and heard a loud sonic boom. Hundreds of people reported seeing this over Boone County (where we live), up to Kokomo (North of Indy). So the speculation all day had been that there were UFO's flying around us. Well as always the Natl' Guard quickly put those rumors to rest saying that there were some F16's doing practice runs using flares or some crap like that. Who really know what it was!!

Well this morning at approximately 5:38, I woke up to this odd sensation of airpressure change or quick burst of wind. We left the bedroom window half open last night and it was just an odd sensation that woke me up, well right after, the bed started shaking and I thought the aliens had landed in my back yard, and I'm not KIDDING! Jarrett had already left for work since he's leaving early today, so it was just me and the dogs. The shaking lasted for about 20-30 seconds and then stopped. All I could think about was ALIENS, yes I did think that if in fact it was an earthquake, I should be standing in the door way, but I was too scared to get out of bed! Then I thought oh shit, the window is open and these aliens can get into my house! I listened for about 5 minutes and then jumped out of bed and shut the window. I got in the shower and then turned on the TV.

I have never been so thankful to hear that it was only an Earthquake. What an earthquake, in Indiana, WTF! It was really a scary experience, I've been through tornadoes and while they're not fun, at least you hopefully have time to prepare a "hiding spot" before the storm hits, with an earthquake, you have no idea it's coming and it WAS SCARY!!! And I don't want to feel what a 7.0 would be like!!!!

Admit it, a part of you wanted to see an alien. ;)

Yes, earthquakes can break the everyday monotony, no problem.
