I survived the Allstate 400 at the Brickyard

Another tire fiasco at Indy, come on!! I had no idea until after the race that there was a problem with the tires. Some guy came up to me on the golf cart and started complaining and blaming IMS and I was like, "HUH?" Oh well, I guess that just means I'm a super duper employee and don't even take a break to watch the race. All in all, it was a good race, but I'm looking foward to this weekend to recoup!! Once again, I did not see my husband at the track, but I did send my intern to take some pitures of him on stage during a Q&A. She did an ok job, but I'm sure I would have weezled my way into better pictures if I would have gone.

The top picture is my favorite part of race morning. I drive my golf cart out on the back stretch of the track to drop off some guest service stuff and that is the view at 4am. It's so dark out and all I can hear are the sprinklers on the golf course, very scerene and I love that part of the day the most!!! It's a georgous view. I'm having spelling problems today too, so please forgive me!

We're very busy over the next few weekends. Jarrett's mom and ron are in town this weekend to do their Richard Petty ride along, weather permitting. As we speak, Jarrett is at home trying to install the rear window motor on the car, hopefully he won't throw a wrench through the other side in the process. I know he is VERY mechanically and technically INCLINED, but I really didn't know that working on car window's was up his alley. He's gonna give it a shot and see what happens, keep your fingers crossed!!
