Everything Has to Come to an End, Right?

I never thought the day would come in which I would be able to post this, but low and behold it has. I'm not sure how I feel about it, but I turned in my resignation today. So if any of you were hoping for free tickets during the 2009 season, I'm sorry! I have very mixed emotions right now. I'm so comfortable in my current position, it's hard to think of what a day at work will be like somewhere else. That being said, I also know and Jarrett can vough for my grumpiness on this one, I'm also SO VERY MISERABLE in this position as well!

So where am I going, what am I going to do. Well, I wish I could say that I'm going to be a housewife, but that's not the case. I am going to work for a company call Pharmaceutical Calibrations and Instrumentation, LLC. The company has a location at the Eli Lilly and that is where I will be working out of. They take care of calibrating all of the devices in which Lilly uses to manufacture their drugs. My official job title: Technical Analyst, sounds important huh. I guess we'll find out if it is or not!

I have such mixed emotions about leaving this place. This is the first job I had out of college, well grad school anyway. My office and boss have been very good to me, but I don't see any room for advancement any time in the future, especially due to the economy! At least the pharmaceutical field is still doing pretty good!

So wich me luck on my next journey. My last day at the Track is March 18 and I start at Lilly on the 19th.
