FML (F**k My Life)

So apparently that is the new "IT" term per facebook and Sami...so that's how I feel right about now. Our daycare provider decided that it would be in her best interest to give us her two weeks notice via typed letter in the diaper bag. Yup, she didn't have the balls to tell Jarrett to his face when he picked her up yesterday. So now we have two weeks to figure something out.

I'm bitter if you couldn't tell. Anyone know of a decent babysitter/nanny/daycare in the Lebanon, Zionsville, Whitestown area? Anyone...Anyone...nope I didn't think SO! FML oh did I forget to mention that we gave her a $600 deposit in May to "HOLD" a spot for Stella? Hold = funny term because she never picked any kids up so we basically wasted our money, but but... She is going to give us $300 of it back. Again, FML

Look it could be worse... She could have told you she's done today... I am sure you'll figure something out... In the interim you know we are here to help anyway we can...

I'll check with my friend Jenny. She lives in Whitestown and has a 2-year-old and a newborn. I know she went back to work so she must have someone in the area.

that sucks! I would highly recommend a professional daycare. We love where we take Gavin and our thoughts on an in-home DC are you don't know who may be coming and going in the house. Gavin's DC is great. They do many learning activities throughout the day and he's seem to really enjoy it. Also, I don't know about in-home DC when it pretains to taxes. If someone is doing it under the table you may not be able to use the DC $ spent as a deduction if they cannot provide a tax ID #..food for thought

Just sell her on e-bay or something. You could probably make at least a couple hundred and the shipping costs are definitely tax deductible...
