Still a work in progress...

Figured I'd update since It's been a while although we're still making progress. I haven't taken any pictures of the upstairs since it's kinda messy. I'll shoot for that this weekend.

Stella has been a hot mess. First hand/foot/mouth -we finally got over that and she's picked up a stomach bug she's had for going on a week. She's not eating much at all, drinking good, puking and well you can guess the rest. I took her to the pedi on Tuesday and she said it's just going to run it's course. We thought we had turned a corner, but it seems to still be sticking around.

Which, I guess is good because that means she will get lots of snuggle time with Grandma and Grandpa Holden before they leave for Kansas......yup, Kansas, you read that right. So happy for my dad, but so sad at the same time. They've been a HUGE more than we could ever thank them for, HELP with Stella. Dad leaves on the 3rd of January and mom will follow soon their after by the end of the month. I forsee a lot of frequent flyer miles being racked up between Indpls, North Carolina and Massachusetts!

yup, that's the tea pot from Grandma and Grandpa Hamood's. I knew one day we'd have a place to put it!!

Finally, a place for me to put my China, Jarrett couldn't have cared! LOVE IT!

The family room. As you can tell we're having problems with our fireplace letting in a HUGE ARCTIC Draft. So they're coming to look at it next week. Until they do, it will remain covered with a piece of carpet and cardboard...so much for that snuggly feel of hanging out in front of the fireplace on a cold winter day...that being said, it doesn't have a blower on it nor does it put out heat so that snuggly part doesn't really apply, but you get what I mean!
