How big are we this week?? Ahhh.. much more refreshing than the SHRIMP! Who the hell picked the shrimp anyway!!
How your baby's growing: This week's big developments: Your baby can now squint, frown, grimace, pee, and possibly suck his thumb! Thanks to brain impulses, his facial muscles are getting a workout as his tiny features form one expression after another. His kidneys are producing urine, which he releases into the amniotic fluid around him — a process he'll keep up until birth. He can grasp, too, and if you're having an ultrasound now, you may even catch him sucking his thumb. In other news: Your baby's stretching out. From head to bottom, he measures 3 1/2 inches — about the size of a lemon — and he weighs 1 1/2 ounces. His body's growing faster than his head, which now sits upon a more distinct neck. By the end of this week, his arms will have grown to a length that's in proportion to the rest of his body. (His legs still have some lengthening to do.) He's starting to develop an ultra-fine, downy covering of hair, called lanugo, all over his body. Your baby's liver starts making bile this week — a sign that it's doing its job right — and his spleen starts helping in the production of red blood cells. Though you can't feel his tiny punches and kicks yet, your little pugilist's hands and feet (which now measure about 1/2 inch long) are more flexible and active.

How far along? 14w0d
Total weight gain/loss: up 4 lbs and looking fatter, not pregnant!!! Come on baby bump!
How big is the baby? Baby H is just almost 3 1/2 inches long and weighs 1.5 ounces

Maternity clothes? Well I purchased my first pair of pants/capris this past weekend and I can't wait to wear them, they were so comfortable. I have also purchased a be band, which you wear over your pants when you can no longer button them. I only have to use this with 2 pair at this point, so I'm still doing ok. My shirts are also getting a little shorter
Stretch marks? Nope!
Sleep: Not going to bad, except for the fact that I have been most comfortable lately on my back and I really need to break that habit!

Best moment this week: It's still early in the week, but so far, planting flowers out front (nothing to do with the baby)
Movement: nothing yet
Food cravings: Watermelon or any fruit that is juicy--still this!
Gender: For some reason, I’m thinking boy! -- still this!
Labor Signs: not yet, thank God! -- still this!
Belly Button in or out? still an innie! --still this!
What I miss: playing volleyball...also there is a co-ed softball team at my work and I won't be able to play this year..I'm bummed out! It's been so long since I last played!

What I am looking forward to: picking out nursery furniture with Jarrett. We figure we will do this sometime in May or June.

Yipee for a lemon! sounds like your doing well.. Love the updates! grow baby grow!
I agree Steph...not a good analogy if that's what we call it. Your too funny! I noticed in an earlier post when referring to the baby, you kept mentioning "she"...I know you copied from a website but maybe it's a hidden message??!!
it's been so long since we went thru this we forgot whats going on!! please keep us informed!!!
Well yes Ryan, the website refers to it as a "SHE" let's not give mom and auntie anything to get their panties in a bunch over. I refer to the baby as "HE" all the time probably because of the dogs. Mom thinks we know the sex of the baby already, little does she know, if we wanted to, we couldn't find out for another few weeks!
